Stakeholder Interview

The meeting to kick off the project included myself, the business owner (MDM Architect), the Product Owner, the Automation Engineer, the Software Engineer, and other team players. During the meeting, we discussed three key important distinctions of the project: the product, client, and user.

We first defined the product by asking relevant questions about it, such as its goal, users, and what constitutes success.

Product & CLEINT

Streamline is the business and Self Service is the MDM tool New Black (A commerce platform) needed to enroll their inventory of Apple devices (iMacs, iPads, iPhones, and Macbooks)

User Research

We conducted research to identify user needs and goals.

Needs

#6 Invite Users by Email to Enroll

Goals

The purpose of the tool is to have a user-initiated experience to enroll devices for Mobile Device Management.

Information Architecture

We then used the data from the stakeholder interview and user research to synthesize an information architecture. The purpose is to have a higher level of understanding of the product user experience.

Enrollment flow

This is the flow used to enroll devices with the user-initiated enrollment portal.

User flows

And we used these user flows for the super admin to create an account, login and save enrollment drafts.
